The iPad Pro is expected to use either OLED or mini LED in the future. Display technology has been slow to change, with the industry seemingly taking decades to move from one to the next. Cathode ray tube (CRT) screens hung around for ages until thin and light TFT LCD screens became cheap and attractive enough for consumers to adopt.
