Future Plc’s market leading women’s fashion and beauty destination, Marie Claire UK has launched a premium loyalty programme – the first of its kind from a major publisher.

Members of Marie Claire VIP will receive points whenever they shop at over 4,000 online retailers through a dedicated programme site, then exchange their points for online vouchers to spend at their favourite retailers who partner with VIP.

Partnering with Upfeat, the technology provider, the VIP rewards programme will be first offered via a chrome browser extension, and later rolled out to web and app versions of the service.  Users can earn anywhere from 1% up to 50% of their purchases in points.

Bringing together the brand’s touch points for a fully immersive customer experience, members will also receive early access to fashion and beauty sale events with Marie Claire partners, invitations to Marie Claire events, exclusive discounts and free beauty samples.

VIP is the second groundbreaking launch in the e-commerce sphere from the brand this year, and builds on the fantastic success of its award winning Beauty Drawer offering.

Marie Claire VIP is led by Emily Ferguson, Marie Claire’s eCommerce Director, who says: “The concept of the VIP is to bring together all the elements of the Maire Claire brand to create a fully immersive experience and add value to our users every time they shop.”

Caroline Stent, MD of Marie Claire UK, says: “VIP is an important new component within the Marie Claire UK business ecosystem and we’re looking forward to being able to better reward our loyal and valued community in new and exciting ways.
