Future plc is celebrating success at the prestigious 2020 PPA Awards, taking home three awards.

Country Life was decorated with not one but two awards. The cover of its first sustainability issue published on 26 June 2019, which featured the stark and striking image of a lone honeybee, collected the silver award in the Front Cover of the Year category, voted for by the public.

The brand also walked away with bronze for Special Interest Magazine Brand of the Year with the judges commenting that they were “extremely impressed by the growth across the board, in particular the new subscriber base. With its impactful design and strong editorial positioning, impressive cross-platform activations and good commercial growth, Country Life shows great evidence of magazine success.”

And research done in 2019 by recently acquired TI Media scooped the accolade for Commercial Initiative of the Year. The Heart of Britain campaign – an in-depth study into the often overlooked but highly valuable audience traditionally referred to as mass market women. The judges said they were “ impressed with TI Media’s innovative approach as well as exhaustive audience research to drive and uplift revenues and spark great media interest with their Heart of Britain initiative.”
