It’s not like Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, seen as the company’s return to form after the Note 7 debacle, are selling poorly. However, T-Mobile wants Samsung’s latest and greatest to be in as many hands as possible, which brings us to the carrier’s alleged BOGO deal for the pair of smartphones.

Details about the promo leaked over on Reddit, where a user posted the terms of T-Mobile’s BOGO deal. We’re still waiting for the official confirmation.

The promotion is reportedly set to begin today, May 12, but there are a few things to consider. For one, it requires purchasing any combination of two Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus smartphones on an installment plan, with one of them being on a new line with “unlimited” data. Furthermore, you will get your money back in the form of a prepaid MasterCard, which will contain a maximum of $750. In other words, even if you pick up a Galaxy S8 Plus as the second phone, you will only be compensated for the price of a regular Galaxy S8.

Finally, the promotion is not retroactive – those who already purchased Samsung’s flagship are out of luck. Even so, it seems like a solid-enough promotion for those on the fence, so long as they are patient.

We should learn more about the BOGO promotion in a few hours, when it will reportedly launch for an undetermined amount of time.
