Most people who buy an electric vehicle are in it for the speed, right?
Even if they aren’t, car makers are always striving to go faster and farther, and that is exactly what Tesla has done with it’s new 100 kWh battery pack, which allows the Model S to accelerate from 0-60 in only 2.5 seconds. Car enthusiasts are bound to be excited about that.
