“The AR package was hopelessly broken, and our software support guy was always having to fix it for customers,” says fish.

“One pharmacist was very familiar with its bugs and shortcomings, but free is free. Because the pharmacist had worked on the package with our software guy, fixing the numerous crashes as they happened, he had the software guy’s home phone number.

“It was about 5:30 a.m. The phone rang, and it was the pharmacist calling to tell the software guy all of his Accounts Receivable data was gone.
