The Apple iPhone from the San Bernadino case is back in the news. Now the Federal Bureau of Investigation is said to have paid hackers to help — unbelievable.

Sources say the unknown gray-hat hackers sold the FBI one or more unpatched vulnerabilities in iOS 9. Those zero-days were then exploited to unlock the suspect’s iPhone 5C.
