Apple ordered to unlock iPhone of Syed Rizwan Farook, a shooter in the December 2 San Bernadino terrorist attack. But Tim Cook claims his company can’t help the FBI more than it already has, and he opines that using the legal means behind the court Order was “unprecedented.”
Unfortunately for Tim, it looks like neither statement is justified. There are several recent precedents, and the technical options are broader than what’s already been tried.
