Apple and AT&T are being sued by Immersion Corporation (IMMR), for allegedly infringing patents relating to haptic tech. Immersion says Apple used its patented property in the last two generations of iPhone and in the Apple Watch.

Errm, Immer-who? The company calls itself, “The leading innovator in haptic technology.” In the past, it’s successfully sued Sony and Microsoft for vibrating game controllers, and it licenses haptics to many Android phone firms.

Ohhh, that Immersion. In IT Blogwatch, bloggers resist the temptation to use the phrase “patent troll.” <!– Not to mention: XXXXXXXXXXXX… –>
