Looks like Google will kill off Chrome OS, folding it into Android. According to deep-throated sources, Chromebooks will get a new name in 2017.

But what will we call the, umm, “merged” platform?

Androme? Chromedroid? Nah, I’m holding out for (ahem) Android OS.
