It’s late May in 1999, and the first new Star Wars movie in years has hit theaters — hit them so hard, in fact, that the only tickets available locally are for weekday matinees, according to this pilot fish.
“So my boss decided that he and my co-worker and I were going to take a late lunch, sneak out and go watch a movie,” fish says. “I objected a bit, but he pointed out that about 30 computers were coming soon, and we’d be working late installing them throughout the company, so taking a couple of hours would be fine.
“We told the receptionist that we were going to a team lunch, and would be back in a couple of hours.
