As far as minimal upfront payments go, Samsung India has officially dropped the mic. Until May 15 you can put down just one Rupee and walk out with a brand new Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6. The offer is part of Samsung India’s “Make for India” celebrations based on Samsung being voted India’s most trusted brand in The Economic Times last year.

It’s important to note that the Galaxy Note 5 on offer is only the single-SIM version, so be aware of that before picking one up. The Galaxy Note 5 price is ₹42,900 and the Galaxy S6 will set you back ₹33,9000. The balance of the phone’s cost can be paid via “no extra cost” equated monthly instalments (EMIs).

Depending how you decide to pay you have a couple of other kick backs too. If you buy the phone outright you can get 10% cash back on debit cards from approved banks or receive 10% cash back on EMI and non-EMI credit card transactions. EMIs are available on 3, 6, 9 and 12 month terms but prices may vary from state to state, so be sure to check.
